Ann Trimble

Ann Trimble was born with the love of all animals. She was involved with Equine, Bovine and Canine all throughout her life. The equine involvement with all breeds of horses: American Saddle Bred, Hackney ponies, and Thoroughbreds, taught her the importance of structure, conditioning and bloodlines. Her successes of World Championships (Saddlebreds and Hackney ponies) as well as Stakes winning Thoroughbreds all over the world, are proof of her passion in breeding and proving by performance. All of her successes have been proven by a “hands on” involvement with all animals during her lifetime. When age became a factor in

showing and racing her larger animals, her friends accused her of “Going to the Dogs”. She did just that when she was given in 1982 her first pug dog who was a black “Gore” pug named Mr. B. was no show dog, but he stayed with her for fourteen years and brought her into the show world.  She acquired a younger “friend” for Mr. B who produced the first show dog “Ch Trump’s Bisquick” for Ann. The rest is pug history.

Nonesuch Name Origin

Where did the Nonesuch name Come From???? When Ann retired from the horse world, she moved to a little “Cross Roads Community Settlement” in Woodford County, south of Versailles Kentucky! The little community is named NONESUCH.This is the location where Ann bred her first champions and the name has served her well for THERE ARE NONESUCH PUGS LIKE THE NONESUCHPUGS!.

Mary S. Pickhardt Memorial Award

The Mary S. Pickhardt Memorial Award has been awarded twice to Ann Trimble.

The first award was for breeding the very outstanding dam of twelve champions; CH Nonesuch Blackberry Muffin ROM****.

Ann received her second Pickhardt award for breeding the full sister to Best in Show Nonesuch River Boat Annie; CH Nonesuch Capt’ns Ladybug ROM**, who was dam of nine champions
